Trump Says “Republicans Eat Their Young” During Bizarre Rant
During one of Donald Trump’s latest deranged tirades posted to his Truth Social platform, the former President made one of his strangest statements so far, raising concerns about his rapidly deteriorating cognitive state.
In the video, Trump goes off on an unhinged rant accusing his former Attorney General Bill Barr, Senator Mitt Romney, and former Republican Congressman Paul Ryan of conspiring against him.
Trump accuses the three of being disloyal and talentless losers, a common Trump insult, but then goes on to make an inexplicable statement that can only be attributed to his cognitive decline.
The former President says “Republicans eat their young. They really do. They eat their young. Terrible statement. But it's true.”
Now it’s likely Trump doesn’t believe Republicans do in fact it their young, and instead just misspoke, but he’s been misspeaking and going off the rails about whales, windmills, and other random topics more often than usual lately.
Trump is clearly losing it, so much so that Republican Ron DeSantis even accused the frontrunner for the GOP nomination of being in cognitive decline.
While the media will try to accuse President Biden of having lost a step, it’s clear that it is Trump who no longer has it, not that he ever did.
