On Friday morning, Congressman George Santos used a tweet mourning the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein as an opportunity to let the world know he’s married to a man named Matt.
Congressman Santos’ marital status was unclear to many since he hadn’t referenced his Husband Matt on Twitter on either his official account or his personal one — before his Feinstein tribute post, a search on the social platform showed.
It’s no surprise that many are questioning the legitimacy of the Congressman’s marriage given his history of lying. Not only did Santos lie about his education, his previous employment, being a star volleyball player, and his mother dying on 9/11 but Santos has also been charged with Fraud, Money Laundering, Theft of Public Funds, and False Statements.
